Sunday School

Preschool in “The Meadow” begins on Sunday mornings at 9:40 and continues into the worship hour at 10:40.

During the 9:40 hour traditional preschool activities are offered in “The Meadow” for our youngest babies, toddles and preschoolers. A simple Bible Story is taught and age appropriate crafts and activities follow. The teachers welcome your child and know that a child’s first experience gathering with friends to learn about God’s love for them is crucial. That is why our teachers are very intentional when greeting your child and helping them to immediately engage in the activities for the morning. Separation from parents at this age can be tricky, for the parents and the child. That is why we have large viewing windows to check on the child often and a “parents are welcome to stay” policy. Our teachers use “Heart Shapers” curriculum from Standard Publishing during the 9:40 hour.

For our somewhat older preschoolers and their parents there is a program called “Spotlight” that is offered in room 205, The Spot. This is a family gathering time and preschoolers and their significant adult are welcome to attend. The morning starts with singing, worship, a Bible story and then the children and their parents break off into age appropriate small group time with a dedicated teacher. Our lessons for “Spotlight” are taken from “Living Inside Out” a Group publishing curriculum.

We gather together to celebrate God's faithfulness and presence, and as we gather, we reveal God's love and grace to each other.
Day by day, Jesus is forming, creating us in his image. We grow with every step we take as we learn to follow in love and obedience.
We follow Jesus together. In group, we encourage, love, support, and care for one another.
We have been given every spiritual blessing in heaven. We are asked to be stewards of God's gifts, faithfully giving back to Him all that He has given us.
