Worship Word Justice Community
March 9, 2010

Welcome to the world of today's teenagers.

Today's teenagers are needy. Stressed and wounded by society's unrealistic expectations, they need encouragement and a friend. Pressured by decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, they need direction and discernment. Living in a culture that is saturated with sex, money, power, and change, they need something--Someone--who is constant.

The gods they have been offered in the McWorld are fast and good-looking on the outside, but do not satisfy the deep cravings for acceptance, belonging, and purpose.

But the God who created them--
who holds the galaxies in the palm of His hands,
in whose Presence all creation trembles,
who is closer than their next breath,

He has chosen, gifted, and called them. He understands their deepest needs, and promises to fill them all. As we learn to follow Him, we will hear His call to do justice, to offer mercy, and to find new friends.

Come find a place for youth at Cornerstone Church.
